A powerful breathing technique that gives you total control

This breathing technique gives you a sort of superhuman ability to control and enhance the efficiency of your vital body functions.

This forgotten breathing technique used by ancient Indian sages in their deep meditation gives you a sort of superhuman abilities to control and enhance efficiency of your vital body functions.

Breathing is a spontaneous process of our body, we never put conscious efforts while breathing and that’s why we never pay attention to how we breathe. But there is a lot more to breathing than what we have experienced by now. There are said to be such breathing techniques exist which are capable to lend you superhuman abilities if applied properly.

First, A small tutorial on necessity of proper breathing function as a whole:

The most vital purpose breathing serves in our body is to oxygenate our blood. A healthy person requires approximately 400 liters of oxygen (O2) each day. Hemoglobin is responsible for transporting all this oxygen to every part of our body via the bloodstream. Our liver and brain are the two largest single organ consumers of oxygen taking about 20% and 18% of total oxygen intake, respectively.

In short, more oxygen intake will result in efficient brain and liver functions and the rest of the vital functions fall in line behind them. Also, a high level of oxygen in our bloodstream heightens our sense and helps us focus on a specific task like a sword fight 😉.

Second, a little prelude to the main part, the fascinating world of breathing techniques that you must explore by yourself:

So, recently I’ve been watching this truly amazing anime series called “Demon Slayer”. If you are an anime fan and haven’t watched this series, I highly recommend you to binge-watch it.

In this anime, the lead character Tanjiro, who’s a demon slayer, uses different breathing techniques to gain total control over his body and mind, thus fighting demons with the best of his abilities and skills. He uses this technique called ‘Total Concentration Breathing’ and different forms of it, which gives him superhuman abilities to move like a ninja and swing his sword like a God. This fascinating storyline led me to search if such a concept is inspired by some real technique or is it all just a fantasy.

You’ll find it intriguing that there is a Japanese martial art form known as Aikido which uses a similar concept of breathing techniques. The Nishino Breathing Method (NBM) which is especially used by Japanese swordsmen is closely resembles to the Demon Slayer breathing techniques concept.

We don’t need to go deep in that, because I have already studied it for you, and I have combined the NBM with the ideal breathing technique suggested by National Health Services, UK.

This technique is very similar to what we call Diaphragmatic Breathing or belly breathing, except that I have added a pinch of fantasy and superhuman element in it. Just go through the main course and you’ll find out yourself..

Main Course, Here are the steps of the perfect breathing technique:

There sure are more advanced techniques available for better but different categories of results, but those breathing techniques can not be utilized in any situation like this one can. You can use this breathing technique on a walk, at work, at home or in a crowded streets, regardless of your other health conditions.

1
Calm your mind and try to focus on you breathing for a moment
2
Take deep breaths through the nose while allowing to expand your belly. Think that you are trying to fill your belly with air. When you do that, your diaphragm shifts down allowing enough space for your lungs to expand & filled completely
3
Don’t hold, and now exhale slowly through the mouth while contacting the stomach to let the air out completely. Exhale through the mouth while creating little pressure by parting your lips. Do not worry about the sound

Remember, your breathing should be visible through the inward-outward movement of your stomach. Also, keep your breathing in proper sequence, don’t let it out of the rhythm. Give equal time to inhale and exhale. You can do it slowly or at moderate speed also. I won’t recommend using this technique for fast breathing, you might feel dizzy in doing so.

Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. conscious breathing is my anchor..

According to Yoga sutras written by Sage Patanjali, the great Sages of ancient time used to practice a breathing technique which is said to keep only their brain functions active. There is a mention of a similar technique like one we’ve just explained. In that text, the oxygen, they call PranaVayu, was inhaled to fill the whole body with Prana until only Vayu is left to exhale through the mouth. However, it is a much trickier technique then it sounds, we surely have achieved the essence of it through this method.

Based on this text and our modern knowledge of biochemistry and the respiration process, it can be said that by perfecting this breathing technique in its original form, one can achieve total control over his bodily functions. That includes healing your body and getting rid of any disease at will and having superhuman strength with immensely strengthened focus and willpower.

Now that’s out of the way, how are you feeling? If you are doing it properly, you should feel relaxed over the head and a little energetic in a matter of a minute or 2. Isn’t that cool..? Once you are done watching Demon Slayer, the anime series, come here again, I promise you will feel much better and cooler.

If you have already watched Demon Slayer, tell us something cool about it in the comment section, or if you haven’t watched, ask us something cool about it..
